How the SMS porting of a landline works.
• You must be signed up for an Unlimited plan and have entered your landline number in the account screen for the plan.
• You will then receive an email with a Letter of Authorization (LOA) that must be signed digitally and returned to us.
• We forward the signed LOA to our provider (Twilio) and they initiate the "SMS porting" for your number.
• Once that's complete (usually one business day) we schedule a time to confirm ownership of the number. Your landline phone will ring, and you must answer it and enter a PIN code that we will provide via SMS.
• Once the PIN entry is completed your number becomes "live" and immediately starts receiving texts and is viewable in Phone Fence.
• Calling to and from your landline number is unchanged.
How to include a screen snip in a text message on Windows.
• The new Windows screen snip tool is accessed by pressing the Windows key + Shift + S.
• Highlight the screen region you want to send. A windows notification is helpfully created for you to find the screen snip in the future.
• Simply paste (Ctrl + V) into your Phone Fence message and send!
